Tell us more about yourself:
What are your fitness goals?
I have been in the fitness industry for 5 years and have been competing in the IFBB competition circuit for 4 years.
My goals are to always bring a better package to the stage.
I see each day as the ideal opportunity to better myself and inspire others to do the same. We as women in the fitness industry need to lift each other up and encourage all to reach their goals and break through barriers.
What are your hobbies?
I love to train in the gym but I also enjoy a balanced lifestyle. I often take my training outdoors on a sunny day and take my dog to the beach. I also enjoy 4×4 trails.
Do you have any sporting/fitness achievements you would like to share?
I placed third in KZN at the IFBB Provincials in August 2017. I was then chosen to represent my province at the SA Championships in Witbank in September 2017 and made it to the top 10 in an extremely tough line-up of 16 amazing athletes. I am proud of what I brought to the stage.
Why did you enter the USN Face of Fitness 2017?
I entered the USN Face of Fitness because I would like to show that each and every one of us is able to reach our fitness goals, however big or small they may be! I am not a personal trainer or nutritionist and I do not have any backing in terms of sponsors. I have a coach and I follow a strict meal plan and training regime.
Even without the financial and the general backing of sponsors, I have still managed to step on stage with determination and a proper plan I executed to the best of my abilities.
