Tell us more about yourself:
What are your fitness goals?
I want to compete in the WBFF to be held in Cape Town in March 2018. Other goals entail qualifying as a chiropractic doctor, specialising in sports medicine and opening my own high-performance sports centre where I can help and motivate others regarding a healthier way of living.
What are your hobbies?
I started playing netball at the age of 5 and then carried my love for sport over to hockey, tennis, softball and throwing javelin. I represented all these sports on a provincial level and at 17 I played netball for South Africa against Australia and England. I injured myself seriously when I was 18 and was forced to quit playing sports which led me to the fitness industry. I love the gym and participating in fun-filled activities such as hiking, bootcamps, beach swims and anything that will get my heart pumping!
Do you have any sporting/fitness achievements you would like to share?
South African netball player and 3rd place in BodyPower held in Durban in 2017.
Why did you enter the USN Face of Fitness 2017?
As a former competitive athlete, I always used USN as it definitely boosted my performance. I want to use the competition as a platform to get my name out there in the fitness industry so that I am able to encourage others to live a healthier lifestyle.
I believe USN can benefit because I am willing to help grow the brand as a people’s person and am keen to do my very best in any activity I am involved in.
