Tell us more about yourself:
What are your fitness goals?
My personal fitness goals would be to inspire women of all ages and sizes like Aneeka Buys does, she is my idol!
I want to show people that a little bit of hard work, motivation, and dedication pays off, and being healthy and fit is an amazing feeling! And once you start you can’t stop – it is an addiction. And I want to be the person to help them and see them achieve their individual goals.
My fitness goals – I want to train with children and the elderly (courses I’m currently busy with) and also add yoga to the mix. At some point, I would like to enter a Bikini Fitness competition.
What are your hobbies?
I love cooking. Being in the kitchen, with the music on, is a winner for me. If you let me I would cook for days non-stop! I enjoy the great outdoors and love taking my dogs for a walk every other day. I am also a huge PlayStation girl. I am a person who is always signing up for short courses online in every subject imaginable to gain knowledge about things I know nothing about.
I have a studio (I call it my Girl Cave!) at home and if I am not doing any of the aforementioned things you will catch me hanging out with my friends or training (sometimes by myself and sometimes with clients).
Do you have any sporting/fitness achievements you would like to share?
No, I don’t have any achievements in the fitness industry.
Why did you enter the USN Face of Fitness 2016?
I would like to be part of a brand/team that motivate people to achieve greatness within themselves. I would like to help people become a better version of themselves.
Also, to challenge myself. I was thinking of entering on numerous occasions but I never really had the guts to do so. I believe everyone should take a chance – with anything. If you don’t, you’ll always have that “what if” lingering in the air. You’ll win some and you’ll lose some, you only live once and should take an opportunity with both hands.
