Tell us more about yourself:
What are your fitness goals?
I want to be the best I can be. I want to be better than yesterday yet reaching for tomorrow with a hope and a twinkle in my eye. Being a mom, wife and teacher is very demanding and keeping fit is the glue that binds it all. I want to maintain a balance while still chasing my dreams of becoming a fitness trainer and motivator. I have been extremely blessed in achieving some of my goals for 2017 and will be setting new ones for 2018. I definitely see myself as the next Face of Fitness.
What are your hobbies?
Exercising in the gym, running and surfing on the odd occasion when the swells are good. Playing on the beach with my son and getting dirty at a Muddy Princess fun run.
Do you have any sporting/fitness achievements you would like to share?
2010 KZN runner. 2017 2nd at the KZN IFBB Novice Beach Bikini, ECC 3rd in the Beach Bikini and 2nd at the NABBA provincials KZN, also in the Beach Bikini category.
Why did you enter the USN Face of Fitness 2017?
Being fit is for everyone and anyone can do it! USN supplements have been part of my fitness journey and supplementation is something that keeps me going. I believe I am a winner and an achiever and that I can do anything I set my mind to. We create the environment in which we flourish and this is what I want to surround myself with. Like Nelson Mandela said, “Anything seems impossible until it’s done.”
